Tomorrow is the big weigh in day for the Biggest Loser challenge. Every week on the show, the contestants participate in a last chance workout, which is basically a full day of grueling physical activity in an effort to sweat as much as they can and lose as much as they can to put up big numbers for the weekly weigh in.
Even though I worked out this morning, I decided I want to do a last chance workout tonight. Instead of going to the phone banks as planned, I have decided to hit the pool after dinner tonight. It's hardly a last chance workout by BL standards, but it's better than sitting around.
Earlier this week, I was down 4 lbs for the week, and I was really pleased with that. I made some not awesome (though not horrendous) food and salt choices on Saturday, and bam - the 4 lbs was back and then some. As of today, I had lost a little of it, but I want to do what I can to get that 4 off again - whether it's by tomorrow or not.
So yes, I've been weighing myself daily this week. I'm just trying different things to see what works. Next week I may wait until the Tuesday weigh in, we will see.
I doubt a Monday night swim is going to make a huge (or small) difference on the scale in the AM, but it will make me feel better about my efforts, and that counts too. Also, I *really* enjoy the swimming. :)
