Darcy came to the pool with me tonight, and she took a few pictures on my phone. I wasn't able to get any good Michael Phelps action shots, but you get the idea. :)
This was the first time she had been with me since I got my new gear, and she couldn't believe how much faster I swam compared to before. At the end, I had to do some tricks, naturally. One must keep the crowd entertained. ;-)
Quite impressive, I know.
I had a wonderful swim - tonight I did a half mile. For some reason, after swimming, I feel wonderful - so relaxed like I had an awesome workout without the pain or fatigue of other cardio vascular activities.
I'm really enjoying the swimming portion of the triathlon training, but the rest is going well too. I think I'd like to swim a mile in the next week or two.
